Kyle Shanahan, President

Kyle has over 28 years of collection agency experience. He started as a collector with TransUnion in 1993. In 1996, he was hired as a collections manager for NCO Financial Systems, Inc. He was promoted to general manager of their Albany, New York office in 1998.

In 2000, Kyle transferred back to NCO’s corporate headquarters as the general manager of its Portfolio Management Division. He left NCO in 2002 to start-up AR Resources, Inc., a collection agency in Blue Bell, PA. At AR Resources, Kyle was the Chief Operating Officer where he was responsible for day-to-day Company operations. Revenue grew from ground level in 2002 to $2.5 million annual revenue in 2007.

In 2008, Kyle purchased Eastern Revenue, Inc. As president of ERI, Kyle’s responsibilities are to develop and implement growth strategies to increase the Company’s revenue and profitability. Kyle oversees all client contracts with ERI.

Kyle is an active member of the ACA International, MACA and the Spina Bifida Association of the Delaware Valley. He is a graduate of DeSales University.

Tom King, General Manager

Tom has been involved in collections for more than 36 years, beginning with his start at Allied Bond and Collections as an adjustor. He has supervised, managed, and operated numerous client programs for collection agencies from Pennsylvania to Hawaii.

His work with collection industry support service providers, with focus on how advanced telephony can improve collections performance, along with his experience with scoring models, interpreting analytics and the key point indicators that drive them, result in enhanced net back return to clients.

Tom’s involvement with ACA International ensures compliance risks are mitigated for ERI and our clients, through proper and thorough training at all levels of operations.

Tom joined ERI in October of 2009, and has implemented his background and experience seamlessly, benefiting clients through improved operations and collections results.

Dianne Schmitt, Client Services / Compliance Manager

Dianne has over 27 years of collection experience. She started as a collector at Allied Bond in 1994 and worked for Sears as a collector in 1996. She was hired by NCO Financial Systems, Inc. in 1997. Her expertise includes operations, project management, and account management. She concentrates on improving efficiencies and productivity, and delivering organizational consistency. Her prior roles with NCO included a progressive career track from administration support to supervisor, then manager and director of support services from 1997 – 2005. She was a vice president from 2005-2011.

Dianne joined ERI in 2013; she is responsible for overseeing the client services department, vendor management, special projects and process improvement initiatives. Dianne has a six sigma yellow belt, certified in record retention and destruction, received an Associate’s Degree at Bucks County Community College.

Tammy Robertson, Director Business Development

Tammy has over 16 years of collection experience. She started working at OSI Collection Services in 2005. She was hired by NCO Financial Systems, Inc. in 2006. In 2010, she joined Eastern Revenue Inc., and during her time at ERI, Tammy has been a vital part of the collection team, responsible for managing collection files and special projects. In 2015, she was promoted to Sales/ Business Development, where she will be responsible for developing new business while ensuring quality client service.

 

Steve Guinaldo, Director of Business Development

Steve has been in the collection industry for over 25 years.  He got his start as a collector with NCO Financial Systems in 1995.  In 2002 he left NCO and teamed up with Kyle Shanahan and others to start up AR Resources, Inc. in Blue Bell PA.

At AR Resources Steve served as VP of Sales. Steve’s primary responsibility was developing new business.

In January 2021 Steve teamed back up with Kyle Shanahan and joined the Eastern Revenue team. Steve’s responsibilities at ERI will be to develop new business. In his spare time Steve enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and golfing.

Joseph Carta, IT Manager

Joe has been involved in the computer field for over 40 years with 32 of those years specifically in the Collection, Credit and A/R industries.

In the late 70’s, he is credited with co-designing, programming and implementing one of the first fully automated “card-less” collection systems in the industry while employed at Corliss Credit Services, Inc., in Glastonbury CT. He and one other technician created a new division, Corliss Data Systems where he hired and trained over 85 employees’ while managing support, programming and installation technicians. He left Corliss to start-up Pyramid Computers Services, Inc. As President and CEO his responsibilities included overseeing design, programming and support of the “Pyramid” software package for the credit and collection industry.

In 2000, he sold his company to CR Software, Inc., where he headed up research and development for new products. He transitioned to become EVP of Sales and manage salesmen in Collection Software sales for new clients. In 2009 he left CR Software to provide free lance work for other collection software vendors and collection agencies as a consultant to help improve their software or technical operations. During this period, he worked with a local agency, Eastern Revenue, Inc., to upgrade them from one software platform to another.

Since then he joined Eastern Revenue full time and is responsible for the overall IT operations and provides vision and guidance for Business Development. His education includes CPI-Computer Processing Institute in Hartford CT and Quinnipiac College in Hamden CT.

Bob Aller, Client Services Representative

Bob joined Eastern Revenue in September 2009 and has primary responsibility for processing electronic and manual placements, including managing ERI’s interface to the major education billing companies. Bob also handles custom, monthly and demand reports as well as electronic cash posting, dialer transactions, and credit reporting. Bob has a 30-year background in the collection services industry. His experience includes having spent 11 years as customer service manager at NCO Financial Systems, Inc., and 3 years as client service manager at AR Resources, Inc.
